Many St. Louisans were hit with water damage from the historic 2022 torrential rains that caused flash flooding and water damage between July 25th and July 28th. The damage was so extensive in the St. Louis area, that it affected St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County along with other suburban counties in the region saw FEMA allocate $54 million in disaster funds to the St. Louis region.
